INTRODUCTION

The Workshop on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is being jointly organized by the Navis Center, School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG).

3 Program Overview

This workshop focuses on GNSS and newest available services, GNSS data processing and applications.

After the workshop, the participants will be able to: understand satellite navigation systems, process data and apply GNSS positioning to several domains

GNSS Overview and the European Union Space Programme
GNSS signals and services focusing on Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) and Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA)
GNSS signal structure and a tutorial on how receiving and decoding a signal in Software Defined Radio (SDR) receiver
GNSS signal simulation and data processing
GNSS spoofing & jamming detection and mitigation
GNSS and space weather
GNSS applications.

Pre-requisite for participation

Scientists, engineers, university educators, and policy-and-decision makers and senior subject-matter experts from the following groups: international, regional, national and local research and development institutions, academia, and educational institutions.

The workshop is being planned for a total of 50 participants
